亲爱的同学们和家长们，你们好！这学期快要结束了，相信同学们的中文程度在老师和家长的帮助下提高了不少吧，希望你们能再接再励的学好中文！
As we are nearing the end of the semester, we are sure that you have learned many new aspects of Chinese. We believe you will not regret studying Chinese in our school. China is becoming a prominent influence in the present world, therefore it is important to learn its language and culture. We hope to see you all in the next semester. Due to the increasing demand, we are most likely to open another class for beginners. But if you’re planning not to come back please let us know as soon as possible so we can make best arrangement for other students. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

2009 OCCA Annual Chinese New Year Celebration
纽约橙郡华人协会二零零九年春节联欢会
Time: Saturday, January 24, 2009, Performance at 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM,
Dinner and Dancing Party at 6:00 PM to 10:00PM
时间：二OO 九年一月二十四日（星期六)，文艺演出从下午两点至六
点，晚餐及舞会从六点至晚十点
Place （地点）: Central Valley Elementary School，Central Valley/NY
Dear All:
Orange County Chinese Association (OCCA) is pleased to present an exciting
and a culturally vibrant Chinese New Year’s celebration at Central Valley
Elementary School (cross the street from Monroe-Woodbury Commons), Jan. 24,
2009 at 2:00PM (for inclement weather back-up date: Jan. 31, 2009 at the same
time and location as indicated in above).
This year, we will have a wonderful line-up events and cultural experiences for
OCCA members and all of local residents to enjoy. As always, the admission for
stage performance is free. Meanwhile, we prepare many raffle drawings with
Grand Prize (Wii Console) and many other prizes and delicious dinner as well.
The dinner tickets are on sale now during our Chinese School days or you can
send your reservation by email at tangj@pbcpny.com (Dinner Ticket prices for
OCCA member/non-member Adults- $12/$15 and Children -$8/$10).
Besides OCCA-sponsored Top Prizes Withdrawing, we would be grateful to
collect your generous Package of Gifts and Presents as an important part of our
Ruffle Drawing. Please send those to Ms. Sandy Shih (凌姗姗, OCCS
Principal)， or Jun Tang （唐隽, OCCA Treasure）at the Chinese School. All
donations will be posted at the event.
We also need nominates of new OCCA board member-elect for conveying period
of 2009 beyond, I would like to encourage you to be an volunteer and contribute
your talent and time to our community. Please send your nomination to

appreciated
